Barcelona Ready To Sign Messi's Unborn Baby If It's A Boy

Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi has finally confirmed the rumours that he and his girlfriend are expecting a child and it has emerged that Catalan giants Barcelona are ready to make a contract offer for the 24 year old’s as yet unborn baby.

“I think it will be a boy,” Messi is quoted as saying by Ole. “We did not want to say anything because we never talk about our private life.
“But we were constantly asked about it, so we wanted to share our joy.”

The Nou Camp side will indeed hope that Messi’s offspring is indeed male as they ready to a bid for Lionel’s baby. Having already made advances for a talented Brazilian six year old Barcelona want to make sure they are ahead of the game with regards to the offspring of their star performer.

As yet there has been no comment from Barcelona in relation to this speculation.

Below is a video of Lionel Messi playing football at age 5…. Absolutely fantastic lad, what a genius, we do hope Messi (Jnr) takes much of his father’s traits.

By the age of 21, Messi had received Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year nominations. The following year in 2009 he won both the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year, and won the inaugural FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2010 and 2011. He also won the 2010–11 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. Messi is the fourth football player to win three Ballons d’Or, after Johan Cruyff, Michel Platini and Marco van Basten and the second player to win three consecutive Ballons d’Or, after Michel Platini. His playing style and small stature have drawn comparisons to Diego Maradona, who himself declared Messi as his “successor”.

Messi has won five La Liga titles and three Champions League titles. In 2012, Messi made UEFA Champions League history by becoming the first player to score five goals in one match, in a 7–1 win against Bayer Leverkusen.
